Background

This was a very young coaching firm that had recently gone through a rebranding effort.  The CEO felt that she wasn’t connecting with her audiences in the way that made the level of impact that she wanted to make.  The CEO was the only employee at the company and there were no outsourced service providers; business development was done through networking, social media posts and blogging.

Business Situation

High-Speed Coaching, IncThe company had very little market presence and no extraordinary unique selling point.  They had no identifiable target audience.  Systems and processes in the company were non-existent.  The company had no marketing or growth plans and little operational infrastructure.  Furthermore, the CEO was overwhelmed, lacking confidence in marketing her offerings, overworked and unsure how to make her vision reality.

Approach

Our goals were to take some of the burden of running the company off of her shoulders, help re-position the company so that it stood out from the marketplace and help the company develop efficient and effective business development, product development and financial management tools.  Because of the potentiality of the company growth, we chose to invest resources into the company to help bring the potential to fruition.  As a result of our research and analysis, we determined that there would be a number of tactics we would take to help the company reach its vision.  These included:

  • Further targeting of and strategies to reach the desired audience
  • Development of revenue model, short term and long term growth plans
  • Creation of a clear, identifiable cause to help differentiate her offerings in the marketplace
  • Development of a business development strategy, including marketing automation, product/service development, pipeline management, speaking and facilitations, a sales strategy and “lunch and learns”
  • Outsourced operations management and administrative team to provide additional leadership for the company and to drive and implement company initiatives

  • Regular development of specialized products and services to serve the company’s expanding client base
  • Impact of more than 1,000 people per year by the company’s branded cause through speaking events, networking and event facilitation
  • Efficient and effective business development strategies have increased marketplace visibility more than 3000% and revenue more than 1000% (estimates based on social media activity and regular client engagements)
  • Online store visibility and inventory for clients to purchase goods and services at any time
  • A global presence
  • The company’s book, content delivery and facilitation methodology has been considered for use several colleges and universities, nonprofit and for profit corporations
  • CEO is now a professional speaker, certified through the National Speaker’s Hired an industry coach, expert online marketer and finance team to serve the increasing needs of the company as it enters into a new growth phase
  • Company is seeking to quadruple its size (revenue) within the next 24 months
